Velo Baltica bicycle route
Velo Baltica is a picturesque bicycle route along the Polish Baltic coast. It is part of the international EuroVelo 10 route. Stretching for over 500 km within Poland, it starts in Świnoujście and ends in Elbląg, with charming towns, beaches and coastal landscapes along the way. A bike trip along this trail is a fantastic idea for an active holiday with the family.

Starting your trip in Świnoujście, a city located on 44 islands, you can admire the tallest lighthouse in Poland and walk on the longest promenade. The next stop is Międzyzdroje, known for the Avenue of Stars and the proximity of the Woliński National Park, where among cliffs and beech forests you can meet… bison. As you pedal for some more kilometres, the trail takes you to the charming Kamień Pomorski with a historic cathedral and to Kołobrzeg, where it is worth stopping at the historic lighthouse and visiting the Museum of Polish Arms.
The route continues through the peaceful Ustronie Morskie with the oldest oak in Poland, and Mielno, located between the sea and Lake Jamno. In Darłowo, check out the Gothic Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes, and in Ustka stop at the charming port and promenade.
One of the most attractive points on the trail is the Słowiński National Park with moving dunes, which create a unique landscape, almost like on a desert. In the nearby Łeba it is worth visiting the Dinosaur Park or just relax on the wide beach.
The culmination of the bicycle trip is Elbląg, a historic city with a restored old town and the unique Elbląg Canal.
