The modern permanent exhibition presents the history of the strike in the “Wujek” mine during martial law and the bloody strike-breaking in which 9 miners were killed. The exhibition presents a broader context of Polish resistance to the communist system in the 1980s. Thanks to advanced technologies, dozens of projectors and touch screens have been fitted in the exhibition space, allowing visitors to watch several minute long videos in each room, with commentary in different languages. Touch screens allow visitors to learn more through accessing archival photos, videos and texts.
