The two-floor building was built in the second half of the seventeenth century, founded by Ordinate Katarzyna from Ostrogowscy Zamoyska. It is the oldest example of the Baroque architecture in the city with a distinctive façade, close-fitting to so-called Corinthian pilasters in "the great order".
