In the past Grodzka Gate guarded the entrance to the city, today Grodzka Gate Centre-NN Theatre have their seats here.
It was build in the middle of 14th century as a part of defensive walls and converted (on Komisja Dobrego Porządku recommendation) at the end of 18th century according to Dominik Merlini's classical design. Nowadays Grodzka Gate Centre-NN Theatre, which explores the history and culture of Lublin district, has its seat there.
