Edward’s Island on the Lake of Raczyński in Zaniemyśl.
On the Edward’s Island on the Lake of Raczyński, which is grown with magnificent old trees, a larch “Swiss house” was built in 1817-19 and Edward Raczyński used to live in it until he committed suicide at the edge of the house in 1845. On the walls of Swiss House there are boards to commemorate Edward Raczyński and Mieczysław Orłowicz.
