On an area of 3.5 hectares there are objects and exhibits collected from the border area of Wielkopolskie and Lubuskie regions: the inn, a country farm, a well, and still efficient windmill.
The collections of the museum include the equipment, tools and items for people to work and live the daily life in the village. The open air museum is also the site of many folk events organized in the original interiors of historic huts. Cyclic annual event which draws a lot of attention is the Autumn Festival, held on the last Sunday of September - the program includes craft shows, the shows of vanishing professions, tasting of regional dishes, folk performances.
