On the eastern outskirts of the town of Bransk there is a historic site called Kumat.
Site called Kumat, which is thought to be the field of the battle fought in 1264 between Polish army commanded by King Bolesław V Wstydliwy (Eng. ‘the Chaste’) and the Yotvingians commanded by Komat.
