The picturesque houses, from the time before the war, now restored. These are the remains of the Baroque buildings, since the last fire and the war destroyed the rest of the town.
At the Plac Wolności Square, Pocztowa Street and Walki Młodych Street a small complex of a few houses and some of the detached tenement houses may be found. They come from the 18th and early 19th century. The houses which survived the war are examples of the most common type of houses in the old Krosno.
