The Fara church – the oldest parish church in Rzeszów was originally surrounded by walls and was a part of the city’s defence system.
In the 18th century it was thoroughly reconstructed and a detached belfry was built. Late-Renaissance grave slabs of the Rzeszowski family remained in the presbytery and the interior was given Baroque and Rococo styles.
