The Greek Catholic church dedicated to the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos was erected in 1936, in the place of ancient wooden church from 1822; at present it is a Catholic church. The church belongs to the group of monuments, numerous in the area of southeastern Poland, whose form developed as the result of a stylistic search of the, so called, universal „national style”.
