First mentions on St. Gotard Church were made in 1285.
The oldest at this place wooden church dedicated to St. Gotard existed already in 13th century and was related to market village Old Town. Present, neogothic temple was built in 1908-1910.
During german occupation, as one of few, this church was opened.
