Dębowiec is located along the Wisłoka river, 8 kilometers south from Jasło. The most precious monument in Dębowiec is Sanctuary of Our Lady of La Salette . It is run by the Missionares of La Salette who came here in 1910 and built cloister and monastic church. In the Sanctuary Church there is situated miraculous figure of Weeping Our Lady , which was crowned in 1996. The Sanctuary of Our Lady of La Salette in Dębowiec is very popular place to visit for pilgrims from Poland and abroad.
