The old town is located on a semi-square parcel. Streets that come out of the old town square form a square-angle with its corners. The streets are narrow, two-way streets. Two-storey townhouses with outhouses and backhouses prevail on the market square. Most of the buildings were reconstructed in the second half of the 19th century when new storeys were added to the buildings, the facades redecorated, windows and balconies added and the interiors renovated.
