The building of the church and the monastery was erected in the years 1911-1913, in neo-Gothic style. It is a main seat of the Old-catholic Church of the Mariavites, the founder of which was Feliksa Maria Kozlowska. Her grave is located in the church vaults. In the interior gothic elements were preserved: the main altar with a canopy and monastery choir stalls.
