“Molotov Line” fortifications were built by the Soviet Union for the expected war with Germany, because after the Soviet invasion of Poland during the Second World War, the western border of the USSR was postponed. This line ran from the Baltic Sea to Przemyśl and the remnants can be found in the vicinity of Huta Lubycka.
