The main attraction of the museum is the largest European collection of kerosene lamp from 1860-1940.
The museum commemorates Ignacy Lukasiewicz, inventor of kerosene lamp (1953). Moreover, the museum presents archeological exhibits (fragment of defensive wall and tower from 14th century, prehistoric and modern monuments, flinty and stony tools, metal products, coins, earthen vessels, tiles) and portrait painting gallery.
