The old Russian State Bank renders the spirit of the period perfectly - it transforms the austere bank interior to its original layout - Petersburg's empiricism.
It was designed on a grand scale by W.K. Sołowiow and build within years 1912-1914. Apart from outside design - masks and griffins - there are many details from the period inside. As a result of restoration from the beginnig of 1990' the building gaied its original glamour. Nowadays it is used by Kredyt Bank.
