The Roskosz Nature Reserve is located within the Roskosz Forestry. It protects carbonate peat bogs with unique flora and fauna.

There are 504 vascular plant species, including 37 legally protected species.

Rare species: ragwort, brown bog rush, bicoloured common butterwort, Southern adderstongue, Buxbaum’s sedge, Davall’s sedge.

Water and muddy bird species haven: aquatic warbler, Montagu’e harrier, Eurasian bittern, corn crake, Eurasian curlew, short-eared owl, crane.
