The New Theatre was founded in Zabrze in 1959. Since the beginning of its existence it played a significant role culture-and education. To this day, has prepared more than 220 premieres, including the release of the Silesian authors (eg Albina Siewierski, Stanislaw Bieniasz, Stanislaw Piskorz).
