The church of the Holy Spirit is the oldest church in Lublin. It served as a hospital church and a shelter for the poor, the sick, and the disabled.
The most valuable element of the temple is the painting of Our Lady of Good Advice. The following well-know figures prayed in front of that beautiful painting: Marysieńka Sobieska, Piotr Skarga and Marianna Kościuszko (paternal uncle’s wife of Tadeusz Kościuszko).
