The beginnings of the glassworks is year 1755. In 1810 it became the property of the Prussian treasury.
Repeatedly modernized and extended, it operated continuously until 1945. After World War II operation was interrupted several times. The traditions of this branch of glassworks in Murów is continued by VITROTERM-MURÓW company. The oldest building in the complex is the carpenter's shop dating back to 1755, along with the building of production house from 1884.
