If you are interested in nature returning to its original form – you must visit this place. A few kilometres of walking, beautiful nature and a well-marked route.
The "Uroczysko Dzierzbia" preserve is situated on the grounds of state forests belonging to Łomża Forestry Management, 2,5 kilo metres west of the Stawiski town. It covers the area of 71,80 hectares. Black alder forms the basic stand of the sanctuary. You can sometimes find grey alder, too. Apart from tall trees, there are many lower ones, as well as different herbs and bushes.
