In the Gallery there is a collection of prominent painters of the 19th and 20th centuries: Piotr Michałowski, Jan Matejko, Stanisław Wyspiański, Jacek Malczewski, Tadeusz Kantor, Jonasz Stern, Jerzy Nowosielski, Jan Cybis, Janusz Przybylski, Izabela Gustowska. The collection was begun in 1948 year.
