Attractions for children in Poland

Interesting attractions for children, sometimes directly related to the tradition or history of a given region, can be found in every Polish voivodeship.
Because of the diversity of themes among the travel products for families with children, there’s something to make everyone happy. So what can you find in this wide repertoire? First off, the typical spots providing recreation and entertainment, such as amusement and water parks. Among these, you will find Energylandia, the largest family amusement park in Poland, but also in Europe. Seven zones, including a water one, record-breaking roller coasters and a unique atmosphere, make the park in Zator in the Małopolskie Voivodeship one of the most visited tourist attractions in Poland. Other large and popular theme parks include Legendia – Silesian Merry Town in Chorzów and the indoor park called Mandoria – City of Adventures in Rzgów in the Łódzkie Voivodeship. And if you put on top of that the largest indoor water park in Europe – Suntago in Wręcza in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, then you get a complete paradise for the young ones to explore.

One of these is the European Fairytale Centre, located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, a region in itself full of magic and legends. When visiting the European Fairytale Centre of Koziołek Matołek in Pacanów, children and adults are immersed in a dream land full of colours and surprises. It’s a unique place which inspires through play. Surrounded by a sensory garden with gazebos, it also has a blacksmithery and an amphitheatre. The little ones will also be amazed by the magical gardens in Janowiec in the Lubelskie Voivodeship and the Farm of Illusions in Mościska in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.

For example, the JuraPark Science and Entertainment Park in Krasiejów in the Opolskie Voivodeship and the Bałtów Tourist Complex in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship offer a multitude of exciting things to do. It is also worth visiting Warsaw’s Copernicus Science Centre, the EC1 educational and cultural complex in the former power station in Łódź, and the Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia.
Always ready to entertain and educate children are the many zoological gardens spread throughout the country, where whole families can meet live animals from other continents. The biggest attraction of the oldest zoo in Poland, the one in Wrocław, is the Afrykarium, which is an oceanarium dedicated to the flora and fauna of only one continent: Africa.
