The charming trail leading across the Jędrzejowski Plateau and through the Ponidzie Landscape Parks alongside the old river bed of the Nida River was created in 1915 and affords tourists with remarkable views which can be marveled at from the deck of the open-air wagon (without windows) or the summer wagon.

During the journey you can see the longest wooden bridge in Europe (640m) beside the Nida River and visit the historical workshop buildings at the Jędrzejów Wielki train station where lectures and presentations of how work here used to look like are held.

There is a stop planned in the future at the station in Pińczów where it will be possible to visit the town on a guided tour, see shunting wagons forming and preparing the train, getting the locomotive ready for its journey, as well as to hear a talk on the principles of the functioning of particular mechanisms by highly qualified members of staff.

The organizer of this trip – the Local Government of the Świetokrzyskie Voivodship – also arranges periodic and occasional events for tourists, such as 'Going mushrooming by train', 'Retro for fans' and rides in trolley carriages and in detached locomotives – 'Hajda na Hajdaszek'.
