Ursula von Rydingsvard is one of the most recognized artists and sculptors in the United States of America. Her works can be found in key collections and art venues such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Gallery of Art in Washington, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and many other notable institutions of culture and science.

The Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko is one of the three other locations in Poland where the sculptures will be on display until October 17th, 2021.

The exhibition at the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko encompasses twelve sculptures made in cedarwood, one in animal intestines and one in polyurethane resin, eleven drawings, and an installation made from ready-made objects. It is a representative review of the artist’s work, starting from Untitled (Nine Cones), created only a year after graduating from Columbia University in 1975, to her latest creations, such as Norduna II or Elegantka. The sculptures are placed around the Museum of Contemporary Sculpture, the Orangery Gallery, and the park.

One can also enjoy a memorable virtual tour of the Center’s lovely grounds.
