On the night between June 12th and June 13th Poland will restore freedom of movement within the internal EU borders. Movement was temporarily restricted in March as part of the controls on crossing internal borders within the EU. From June 13th onward only random checks at border crossings will be conducted by Border Forces.
This means that from Saturday 13th June, travellers will be allowed to freely cross EU internal borders. EU citizens will be allowed to enter Poland as well as travel through the country without being asked to undergo a period of quarantine.
Neighbouring countries have been informed about the decision, which enables them to have some time to prepare new guidelines. However, the EU's external borders remain closed for now.
Finally, from June 16, international flights will be brought back.
