Every year in July, Lublin turns into circus extravaganza with hundreds of illusionists, fire eaters, acrobats, jugglers, and other street entertainers showing off their skills and talents in the annual “Carnaval Sztukmistrzów” - conjures carnival. During the festival, Lublin’s streets and city squares become outdoor stages for breathtaking displays of circus acts.

Take a trip back in time to the Middle Ages during the Grunwald Days. The battle of Grunwald took place on July 15th, 1410 when armies led by the Polish king Władysław II Jagiełło soundly beat the Teutonic Knights. Around 4,000 knights arrive for the Grunwald Days festivities to commemorate this event. The Knights’ camp, the medieval craftsmen’s town, and the reenactment of the battle will offer a glimpse into life in the Middle Ages and the history of Poland.

On the fringes of the Tatra National Park, you will find one of Poland’s largest complex of geothermal pools, the Termy Bukovina. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, filled with soothing thermal water, promise a lot of splashing fun. For those seeking a bit of adrenaline rush, the complex provides thrilling water slides, and for children – a kid zone with organized water sports and diving lessons.
