As part of the Wrocław Zoo, Africarium is Poland's first oceanarium and the only one in the world devoted to uncovering flora and fauna of just one continent - Africa.
This enormous exhibition of natural wonders covers 2.5 acres with a tour path stretching well over half a mile. The visitors can admire multiple examples of African ecosystems like those of the Skeleton Coast, East Africa, or the Congo rainforest. The Red Sea aquarium, filled with over 264 thousand gallons of water, amazes with an artificial coral reef and 60 different species of sea life. Prepare to spend up to three hours touring the Africarium and bring a bottle of water as the temperature can reach up to 104 F inside.
