Poland’s National Parks with their network of footpaths provide some of the best walking in the country. Whether you choose the mountainous region or a seaside area, you can be sure to find wonderful scenery and varied wildlife.

If the Baltic coast with well-equipped marinas is a perfect sailing destination, then equally attractive is the Masurian Lake District. With over 2,000 lakes, it offers the best inland sailing experience in Poland.

Traffic-free cycling trails following natural or purpose-built paths in scenic areas are perfect for gentle cycling. Places to find these are scattered across Poland. Good mountain biking terrain can be found in the south of Poland.

Horse riding

If you are planning to take day hacks, choose a scenic part of the country for your riding holiday. For more information on check Poland’s selected riding centres.

The Baltic Coast offers lots of popular windsurfing launch sites, including the Hel Peninsula or the Bay of Puck..  The winds are also very good in some inland locations, such as the Masurian or the Lubuskie Lake Districts.
