Beauty on the banks of the river. “Chrobry Embankment” is a 500-metre-long terrace built between 1901 and 1921, featuring picture perfect, monumental buildings along the river Odra.
The whole area is considered the life’s work of Hermann Haken, the over-mayor of Szczecin between 1878 and 1907. In addition to the Marine Museum, visitors will also find two pavilions, a viewing terrace with the sculpture of the ‘Centaur Fighting Lapiths’ and a spectacular fountain.
