Visit Festival of Jewish culture in Krakow
The Jewish Culture Festival in Cracow is one of the most important and largest events of its kind in the world. First Festival took place in 1988 and shaped by outstanding figures in various fields of Jewish culture and art, the Festival became over time a place where Jews and non-Jews from all over the world could meet.
This year for over a week (24.06- 02.07) Kazimierz will resound with synagogue songs, klezmer music, and Hasidic, classical, and Jewish folk music. There are films, performances, presentations, and exhibitions to see, and stories about the Jewish culture and history to listen to.
27th Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow will introduce this year scientific conference dedicated to contemporary Jewish world and Jewish culture as vibrant, living phenomenon. The conference will be held in Polish. This call is to students of various disciplines not only of Jewish studies as we would like to show Jewish culture in broadest possible context.
