The Polish currency is the zloty (PLN) which consists of 100 groszy. You can exchange euros, dollars and yens in banks and currency exchanges in all cities in Poland. The most common credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, less often American Express) are accepted in hotels, many restaurants and shops. You will find fast food, traditional Polish cuisine and international cuisine across towns and cities and in mall food courts. Menus are usually available in foreign languages (usually in English, sometimes also in French and German). Milk bars (bary mleczne) in large cities offer cheap and simple meals. Restaurants usually open from 9 AM to 11 PM, often longer in large cities. Coffee shops usually open from 9 AM to 10 PM. Tips are usually 10% of your bill.
