Skiing in Krynica Zdrój
Krynica Zdrój is a region of long, winter sports tradition. Currently, it is one of the most modern and the biggest ski resorts in Poland.
Krynica Zdrój is situated on the southern edge of the Sądecki Beskid Mountains. The town hosts two popular ski resorts: Jaworzyna Krynicka – with 8 routes (different difficulty levels, including an 8500-ft FIS trail with a gondola) and Słotwiny – 15 routes (between 400 and 3,300 ft long). Apart from the Jaworzyna range, there is also Wierchomla and The Two Valleys ski station.
There is also a 360-ft long and 130-ft wide pipe for snowboarders.
