The museum boasts rich and diversified collections of sundials, gnomon devices, hourglasses and other time keeping devices such as fire and mechanical clocks and astronomic equipment. The collection is considered the third most important in the world after the ones in Oxford and Chicago.
There are also more than 600 volumes, among them, the most precious ones, namely "De Revolutionimbus Orbium Coelestium" by Nicholas Copernicus from 1566 and subsequent copies signed by Hevelius, Descartes and Huygens. It is also worth seeing the collections of more than 25,000 drawings and ex-libris's created between the 16th and the 20th centuries as well as the preserved interiors of the Przypkowski Family residence itself filled with impressive art collections.
