The Living Museum of Gingerbread in Torun

The Living Museum of Gingerbread was established in 2006 and it is located just a short walk from The Nicolas Copernicus Monument.  In the middle of the Old Town you can discover how gingerbread was baked in Medieval Times and even try to bake one in traditional wooden molds yourself.  Once you tackle with medieval style baking, you are ready to fly to 20th century and see original machinery.  There is also an option for gingerbread decoration workshop.

The museum welcomes all those who want to learn about the tradition of baking gingerbreads in Torun, the history of the city and its medieval culture. The atmosphere is fantastic with a great deal of humor. Join us for the entertaining tour.
