National Museum in Kielce

The rooms on the first floor have retained their original interiors and beam ceilings. The ceilings are decorated with paintings and the walls with ornamental friezes. Behind the palace is a decorative Italian garden dating back to the 17th century.

In the Museum, the following permanent exhibitions are on display:

  • Historic interiors of the 17th and 18th centuries
  • Ancient European and Polish armament
  • Sanctuary of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski
  • Gallery of Polish Painting and Decorative Art with works by such artists as P. Michalowski, J. Kossak, J. Brandt, J. Chelmonski and J. Malczewski
