Brzezno Palace Golf & Spa Resort, Lower Silesia
Brzezno Palace, located just outside Wroclaw, captivates with its stunning architecture and views, standing amongst ancient trees and a new picturesque 18-hole golf course. The small village of Brzezno in Lower Silesia lies on a tributary of the nearby River Barycz, in the valley where the renowned Milicz Ponds were created in the 13th century. Its exceptional location on the northern edge of the Trzebnickie Hills, on former Cistercian lands with their traditions of vineyards and 19th century health resorts, and the River Oder glacial valley with its abundance of forests rich in flora and fauna, makes the Brzezno Palace a popular destination not only for visitors from nearby Wroclaw but also from the rest of Poland and abroad. It is difficult to find so much tranquillity, old and authentic style and stunning nature, in one place and all complemented by healthy and delicious local cuisine, clean air and numerous attractions. The palace complex includes a hotel with conference facilities, a restaurant, an 18-hole golf course (the Gradi Golf Club), a 6-hole academy, tennis courts and a spa resort with the benefit of healing properties. Fortunately, in 1999, someone was found who wanted to restore the palace to the splendour of its former years. Due to the efforts of private owners, Marzena and Krzysztof Gradecki, the property underwent renovation over many years and these efforts are more than evident today. Brzezno Palace has been restored with a view to creating a unique location that takes into account the original architecture and is also in harmony with the surrounding landscape. Inside, thanks to period furniture and its elegant arrangement, the original and truly noble atmosphere of the old estate has been preserved. Visitors can sample the unique atmosphere of the Palace in Brzezno when they enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay in the palace’s stunning rooms.
