In the mountains, in the Mazury, by the sea, or in city centers – the number of SPA centers in Poland are growing. Here you will find marble tubs where the tsars bathed, with white clay pools and Jacuzzis. A complete choice of aquatic pleasure!

The idea of the SPA came from the Romans. They invented the, Sinus per Aqua, health through water idea. Bathing is in fact a wonderful cosmetic indulgence and the source of well being. It relaxes, dissipates fatigue and enhances the beauty of the body. There are over 200 SPA resorts in Poland. Some have views of the waves of the Baltic Sea or the mountains of the Czerwone Wierchy in the Tatry or the moraine hills of the Suwalki region. Apart from a long list of beauty and health treatments, SPA resorts offer an excellent, often dietetic cuisine, accommodation in exquisite interiors and many other attractions. Exceptional SPA’s have been awarded with a certificate of quality.

Luxurious hotels and SPA resorts have the most complete offer. Jelenia Strung SPA RESORT near Kowary offers radon inhalation in the tunnels of the former uranium mine. In the Villa Park in Ciechocinek you can cool off in a kriochamber, and in Wierchomla Ski& SPA Resort you can go straight from a ski slope to a sunny meadow. SPA resorts also provide full medical care (surgical, dermatological, biological, dental and dietary).

The smaller centers have their unique, intimate atmosphere. In Bielenda SPA located at the slopes of Czantoria mobile telephones cannot connect to the outside world. The Wy&Spa hidden in a pine forest in Pobierowo has tempting views of the Baltic Sea, and in the Kanebo International SPA in Kazimierz Dolny the shaitsu massage is performed in the scent of oriental candles surrounded by the colour of sakura, the blossoming cherry.

Urban SPA’s were created for those who are constantly on the move. In Relax Care in the heart of Cracow guests bathe in mineral waters, in the Warsaw Sharley Health and Beauty Institute they can try the charm of an oriental massage, and in the Tołpa SPA in Wroclaw there are mud treatments.
