The region of Kotlina Klodzka (The Kłodzka Dales) is situated in the south-west of Poland. Piano concerts and festivals, which are much appreciated visitors, are organised in the Chopin Theatre in Duszniki Zdroj. The town is known not only for the visits Frederick Chopin made to local health resorts but also for its Paper Manufacture Museum. Located in a mill constructed circa 1605, it offers a paper making experience under the guidance of an instructor. This is the only enterprise of its kind in Europe.

After a satisfactory sojourn at a sanatorium, the Bystrzyckie region and the Stolowe Mountains are ready to be visited. This region is very close to the health resorts and is a good spot to try more active pursuits.
