Information

The region of the Białowieża Primeval Forest is one of the most valuable forest complexes in Europe. It is perfect place for going in for the active tourism – for biking and rides with britzskas, for canoeing trips and the hiking along forest trails. 3-day program of active leisure in the Białowieża Primeval Fores. 1. day: Arrival to Białowieża, lodging in the boarding house/hotel, free time. In the evening ride with britzskas to the forest wilderness in the Białowieża Primeval Forest. Along the route wonderful forest landscapes and picturesque forest villages. Supper at the bonfire, the presentation of hunting signals by a huntersignalman, return with britzskas to the boarding house at glitter of torches. 2. day. Breakfast, departure from Białowieża to the Narewka town in the north part of the Białowieża Primeval Forest. Canoeing trip with river Narewka (ca. 10 km); trip time – ca. 2,5 h. Dinner on the open air, bicycle trip through the Białowieża Primeval Forest (18 km). Return to Białowieża, supper. 3. day. Breakfast. Meeting with a guide, tour through Białowieża. the Palace park (the park in the English style with curious plants and with remains of tsar’s palace, commemorative obelisk). The Nature & Forest museum with modern multimedia presentation of flora and fauna of the Białowieża Primeval Forest, visit to the viewing tower. Check out, departure from Białowieża, along the route visit in the Exemplary Reserve of European bison (to watching: tarpans, European bison, zubrons (cross of a bison and a cow), deers, wild boars and wolves).
