The church, monastery and the pilgrimage park of the Bernardine complex in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Baroque church (17th century) contains the revered painting of Our Lady of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. The Calvary, the Way of the Cross, is lined with shrines, chapels and small churches and is picturesquely set among hills and valleys. The most important processions are held during the Holy Week (Easter) and on the Ascention Day.
