
Ten panels and three debates conceived and organised by the international initiative "A Soul for Europe" take place during the European Culture Congress in Wroc?aw in 2011. Discussions will concern the most significant phenomena of today culture, its various contexts and the role culture plays/can play in modern society.

The International Mime Art Festival is organized each year by Teatr Na Woli and Warsaw Mime Centre. Presenting pantomime theaters from around the world, the event attracts crowds of mime-admirers from Poland and abroad.

The first thought of putting together this festival came in 2006. The idea behind it was simple: the organizers wanted to present the most interesting and valuable phenomena in the world of jazz, nu-jazz, electronics and dance music to the Polish public.

Festival presents the sources of Chopin’s music and its resonance in the contemporary Europe

The “European Stadium of Culture” initiates activities that aim to promote the cultures of Poland and Ukraine, host countries of UEFA EURO 2012, stressing the meaning of their common cultural heritage, supporting their cooperation and creating artistic projects.

Walking the streets of the Old and New Towns allows you to rest from the the bustle of central city life. Atmospheric alleys, squares, and cosy cafés create a unique sense of history, and in the summer, the Old and New Town Squares become stages for musical and theatrical performances and open-air galleries.
We shall see the oldest Jewish sacred religious building in Poland which still stands along this route, the grave of a famous Rabbi which the Nazis did not dare tear down, a synagogue with stained-glass windows (a true rarity!), and the family home of the queen of cosmetics, Helena Rubinstein who hailed from Kazimierz.
Every year, Kazimierz Dolny and Janowiec nad Wisla host the Twin Riverside Film and Art Festival. Head to these two attractive Polish towns, sitting on opposite sides of the Vistula River, for an array of movie screenings and film-related events.
This year Feta celebrates its 15th edition. The bastions of the Old Suburbs and Motława river host more than 20 companies performing over 4 days.
The 11th New Horizons Film Festival will be held in Wrocław between 21 and 31 July 2011. Around 430 films (including 230 feature films) from over 50 countries will be shown during the event.
