This year the festival gets a facelift - events take place all day long in different parts of the city of Poznań, each day ends with an evening performance by the Lake Malta.
The main events are theatre performances: Artonik and Générik Vapeur from France, Kompania Pipo Delbono from Italy and Theatre Gajes from Holland. The legendary Living Theatre from the USA will show a production never seen in Poland before: „Mysteries and Smaller Pieces”. „PlayRec”, created specially for the Poznań event, will be performed by KompleXKapharnaüM Company from France.
Polish groups, as usual, will make a strong presence in Poznań, showing Wojciech Wiński's Republika Usta Usta and Katarzyna Pawłowska's and Maciej Adamczyk's Porywacze Ciał.
This year film productions will also feature high in the festival programme. Films by Ariane Mnouchkine, the First Lady of the European theatre, and by Tony’s Gatlif wil be the highlights of the Festival. The festival audiences will also see the Polish premiere of „Feel like going home” directed by Martin Scorsese.
A premiere of a dance production by Ewa Wycichowska's Polish Dance Theatre is another first.
The Festival Information Centre, reception desk and the press office are situated in Wolności Square in the centre of Poznań.
