Poland’s breakdown assistance system is very efficient. Should your need roadside assistance, please dial (022) 9637 for the National Roadside Assistance Service.

Help should normally arrive within 60 minutes. The fees charged for the services depend on the type of repair required and the towing distance, e.g. up to PLN 340 for 25 km.

Car hire agents will advise you about the available breakdown assistance for their customers.

Garage repairs

Poland has a well developed network of authorised and independent garages and workshops. In the event of breakdown, the phone numbers for these services can be obtained from the police or roadside assistance personnel.
