Lodz is full of Jewish traces.The tour enables the sightseers to learn about the enthralling history of the huge career of Israel Poznanski. We will visit the old Jewish borough and the cementary. We will also have an opportunity to see... Before The Second World War Jewish community constituted one third of the city’s population. Such an immense group could not have disappeared leaving no trace behind. Jewish people built some astonishing factories, palaces and a number of tenement houses. There are a synagogue and the Europe’s largest Jewish cementary in Lodz. The tragedy of the war and the disastrous lot of Lodz’ Jews are reminders of the importance of tolerance, which prevents atrocities. The tour enables the sightseers to learn about the enthralling history of the huge career of Israel Poznanski. We will visit the old Jewish borough and the cementary. We will also have an opportunity to see and admire an exhibition and a memorial monument in the historical Radegast Station.
