In wintertime the lakes and canals of northeastern Poland turn into huge, flat and snow-covered ice fields. Over two thousand lakes of different acreage plus hundreds of rivers and canals are situated in that region. The Śniardwy, Mamry, Niegocin, Bełdany and Nidzkie are the largest lakes.

It is but a 10-minute drive to the centre of Lublin, and a quick access to Chelm, Zamosc and border crossings in Dorohusk and Hrebenne (Ukraine).

The exhibition presents the latest in graphic art in the context of contemporary art in order to take a closer look at the state of the medium and weigh its role as a genre. The curators of the show argue that graphic art has lost its appeal, no longer featured on specialist or mainstream publications or websites as often. Yet the form continues to develop on its own, engaging new artists and singling out the most promising of the bunch.

Krynica Zdrój is a region of long, winter sports tradition. Currently, it is one of the most modern and the biggest ski resorts in Poland with Jaworzyna Krynicka as the main attraction.
Apart from the Jaworzyna range, there is also Wierchomla and The Two Valleys ski station.

Beautiful East of Poland

The aim of the „Promotion of balanced tourism development” project is to increase interest in the tourist offer of five Eastern Poland voivodeships: Warmia Masuria, the Podlasie province, the Lublin Region, the Podkarpackie province, the Świętokrzyskie province.

'Off-road' doesn't mean a way of spending time after hours – it's a lifestyle. Driving on roads full of potholes into difficult, inaccessible regions but in beautiful countryside or participating in rallies are only some of the highlights of this popular sport using all terrain, 4x4 vehicles and GPS technology.
